福建东山海草床生态修复探索与实践

摘要:
海草床是三大典型海洋生态系统之一,同时也是受保护程度相对较低的典型生态系统类型。我国已陆续开展海草床保护与修复实践。然而,华南沿岸海草床分布零散,修复技术与案例仍较为匮乏,福建沿海海草床尚缺乏系统性的修复研究与工程实践。本研究基于耦合生境适宜性与人类活动压力的海草床保护修复优先区识别方法,筛选确定修复适生区,构建了日本鳗草(Zostera japonica)的驯化、扩繁及再野化技术体系,并在海草床已消失多年的福建东山湾开展生态修复试验,实施了8个月的连续监测。结果表明,修复海草表现出较强的环境适应能力,其生态功能逐步恢复,多种鱼类与无脊椎动物在修复区域活动,并监测到海草有性生殖现象;修复海草的密度、覆盖度与株高在监测期间均呈现显著的正相关。本研究在海草床修复区选址、苗种驯化与扩繁及生态修复成效评估等方面形成了系统技术路径,可为我国乃至全球海草床生态修复提供参考与示范。

Abstract:
The seagrass bed is one of the three typical marine ecosystems,and it is also a representative type of ecosystem characterized by relatively low levels of protection.China has carried out the practice of seagrass bed conservation and restoration.However,seagrass beds along the South China coast are scattered in distribution,and restoration technologies and cases are still relatively scarce.There is still a lack of systematic restoration research and engineering practice along the coast of Fujian.In this study,a methodological framework for identifying priority conservation and restoration areas of seagrass beds was established based on the coupling analysis of habitat suitability and human activity pressure.Suitable restoration habitats were scientifically screened and determined,and a complete technical system covering domestication,propagation and re-wilding of Zostera japonica was constructed.Furthermore,a field ecological restoration experiment was implemented in Dongshan Bay,Fujian Province,where seagrass beds had been completely degraded and disappeared for many years,with continuous 8-month field monitoring conducted throughout the experiment.The results showed that the restoration seagrass showed strong environmental adaptability,and the ecological function was gradually restored.A variety of fish and invertebrates were active in the restoration area,and the sexual reproduction of seagrass was monitored.The density,coverage and plant height of the restored seagrass community showed a significant positive correlation during the monitoring period.This study has formed a systematic technical path in the site selection,seedling domestication and propagation,and ecological restoration effectiveness evaluation of seagrass bed restoration areas,which can provide reference and demonstration for the ecological restoration of seagrass beds in China and even the world.
