广西大明山国家级自然保护区表土孢粉与现代植被的关系

摘要:
明晰山地垂直地带性植被的表土孢粉特征,对校准古气候与古植被定量重建的代用指标、提供区域参照具有重要作用。本研究通过分析广西大明山国家级自然保护区(以下简称大明山保护区)6个不同海拔梯度下的24个表土和苔藓孢粉样品,探讨其表土孢粉与现代植被的对应关系。结果表明:(1)大明山保护区表土样品共鉴定出77科/属孢粉类型,以松属(Pinus)为主的针叶类乔木花粉占绝对优势,平均含量为44.02%;其次为阔叶乔灌木类花粉,主要有桃金娘科(Myrtaceae)、栗属(Castanea)和栎属(Quercus)等;草本植物花粉含量最低,以禾本科(Poaceae)、爵床属(Justicia)和菊科(Asteraceae)为主。蕨类植物孢子含量为14.73%—53.69%,多见于芒萁属(Dicranopteris)、肾蕨属(Nephrolepis)和水龙骨科(Polypodiaceae)。表土孢粉组合基本与现代植被特征相吻合,除海拔1 400 m处的山地常绿阔叶林和海拔1 600 m处的山顶苔藓矮林外,其余海拔梯度的表土孢粉组合均能较好反映当地植被的组成。(2)乔灌木类花粉在海拔1 400 m处山地常绿阔叶林的含量最高,高达84.52%,主要有松属、桃金娘科等;草本植物花粉在海拔1 500 m处的山顶苔藓矮林含量最高,为37.76%,以禾本科和爵床属花粉占优;蕨类植物孢子在海拔580 m处的季风常绿阔叶林含量最高,为53.69%。不同海拔表土和苔藓孢粉样品能较好反映各自的优势/建群种。(3)主成分分析(PCA)可以较好区分海拔580 m和785 m处的季风常绿阔叶林、海拔1 275 m和1 400 m处的山地常绿阔叶林以及海拔1 500 m处的山顶苔藓矮林,海拔1 600 m处的山顶苔藓矮林不能较好区分。本研究结果可为大明山保护区的古气候、古环境重建提供孢粉学依据。

Relationship between Topsoil Pollen and Modern Vegetation in the Damingshan National Nature Reserve,Guangxi

Abstract:
A clear understanding of topsoil pollen in mountainous vertical vegetation zones plays a crucial role in calibrating proxy indicators for quantitative reconstruction of paleoclimate and paleovegetation and in providing regional references.By analyzing 24 topsoil and moss samples collected at six different altitudinal gradients within the Damingshan National Nature Reserve of Guangxi,this study investigated the relationship between topsoil pollen and modern vegetation.The results are summarized as follows:(1) A total of 77 families/genera were identified for the topsoil pollen samples in the Damingshan National Nature Reserve of Guangxi.The pollen of coniferous trees represented by Pinus showed absolute dominance (an average proportion of 44.02%),followed by that of broadleaf trees and shrubs,primarily represented by Myrtaceae,Castanea and Quercus.The pollen content was the lowest in herbal plants,represented by Poaceae,Justicia,and Asteraceae.The spore content of ferns ranged from 14.73% to 53.69%,mainly in Dicranopteris,Nephrolepis and Polypodiaceae.The topsoil pollen assemblages generally corresponded with the characteristics of the modern vegetation in the Damingshan National Natural Reserve of Guangxi.Except for the mountain evergreen broadleaf forests at 1 400 m and the mountain-top mossy dwarf forests at 1 600 m,the topsoil pollen assemblages at other altitudes well reflected the composition of the surrounding vegetation.(2) Pollen from shrubs and trees accounted for the highest proportion (84.52%) in evergreen broad-leaved forests at an altitude of 1 400 m,primarily including that of Pinus and Myrtaceae.The pollen from herbal plants reached its highest concentration at 1 500 m in the mountain-top mossy dwarf forests,accounting for 37.76%,dominated by that of Poaceae and Justicia.Fern spores had the highest content in the monsoon evergreen broadleaf forests at an altitude of 580 m,reaching 53.69%.Topsoil samples from different altitudes can effectively reflect their respective dominant or pioneer species.(3) Principal Component Analysis (PCA) effectively distinguished between monsoon evergreen broadleaf forests at altitudes of 580 m and 785 m,mountain evergreen broadleaf forests at 1 275 m and 1 400 m,as well as mountain-top mossy dwarf forest at 1 500 m,while it did not effectively distinguish mountain-top mossy dwarf forest at 1 600 m.The findings of this study may serve as a reference for the reconstruction of paleoclimate and paleovegetation in Damingshan National Natural Reserve of Guangxi.
