夏季澄迈花场湾海草床碳储量及其空间分布特征研究

摘要:
海草床是海岸带蓝碳生态系统的核心组成,其高效固碳与长期储碳功能对应对全球气候变化具有重要价值。南海热带半封闭海湾海草床碳储量特征与驱动机制研究薄弱,制约了区域蓝碳资源精准评估与保护利用。本研究以海南澄迈花场湾为研究区,于2025年夏季开展野外采样与室内分析,系统揭示海草床沉积物有机碳含量与储量的水平与垂直空间分布规律,解析关键生物与环境因子的调控机制,并定量估算生态系统总碳储量。结果表明:花场湾海草床为单一贝克喜盐草(Halophila beccarii)优势群落,呈斑块状空间分布,地下生物量[(6.19±3.56) g DW/m2]显著高于地上生物量[(1.30±0.74) g DW/m2],地下部分有机碳含量(19.14%)为地上部分(8.07%)的2.4倍;沉积物容重平均值为(1.48±0.13) g/cm2,有机碳含量平均值为(1.36±0.23)%,垂直方向上,有机碳含量在51—100 cm层达峰值[(1.65±0.34)%];植被碳密度平均值为(0.21±0.12) Mg C/hm2,100 cm深度沉积物碳密度平均值为(169.45±48.40) Mg C/hm2,区域总碳储量达10 482.47 Mg C,其中沉积物碳储量占比99.85%。海草空间分布格局、海草生物量、水体盐度、溶解氧、溶解性无机氮及沉积物含水率、总氮是调控有机碳空间分布的关键因子。本研究明确了热带半封闭海湾小型海草床碳储量与空间分布特征,可为南海同类海湾海草床生态保护、修复及蓝碳核算提供基础数据与科学支撑。

Abstract:
Seagrass beds are the core component of coastal blue carbon ecosystems,and their high-efficiency carbon sequestration and long-term carbon storage functions are of great value for addressing global climate change.The research on the carbon storage characteristics and driving mechanisms of seagrass beds in tropical semi-enclosed bays of the South China Sea remains insufficient,which restricts the accurate assessment,protection,and utilization of regional blue carbon resources.Taking Huachangwan in Chengmai,Hainan as the study area,this study carried out field sampling and laboratory analysis in the summer of 2025.This study systematically revealed the horizontal and vertical spatial distribution patterns of sediment organic carbon content and storage in the seagrass bed,analyzed the regulatory mechanisms of key biological and environmental factors,and quantitatively estimated the total carbon storage of the ecosystem.The results showed that the seagrass bed in Huachangwan was a monodominant community of Halophila beccarii,with a patchy spatial distribution pattern.The belowground biomass was (6.19±3.56) g DW/m2,which was significantly higher than the aboveground biomass [(1.30±0.74) g DW/m2].The organic carbon content of the belowground part (19.14%) was 2.4 times that of the aboveground part (8.07%).The average sediment bulk density was (1.48±0.13) g/cm2,with the average organic carbon content of (1.36±0.23)%,and the organic carbon content reached a peak of (1.65±0.34)% at the 51-100 cm depth in the vertical direction.The mean value of vegetation carbon density was (0.21±0.12) Mg C/hm2,and the mean value of sediment carbon density at the 100 cm depth was (169.45±48.40) Mg C/hm2.The total regional carbon stock reached 10 482.47 Mg C,with sediment carbon storage accounting for 99.85% of the total.The spatial distribution pattern of seagrass,seagrass biomass,water salinity,dissolved oxygen,dissolved inorganic nitrogen,as well as sediment moisture content and total nitrogen,were the key factors regulating the spatial distribution of organic carbon.This study clarifies the carbon storage and spatial distribution characteristics of small-scale seagrass beds in tropical semi-enclosed bays,providing basic data and scientific support for the ecological protection,restoration,and blue carbon accounting of seagrass beds in similar bays of the South China Sea.
