Abstract: |
The mathematical expectation for a discrete random variable was calculated by means of both the defined method and the sum of random variables decomposition.During the calculation process, the defined method has many steps, and the transformation of the formula and computation are flexible, while the sum of random variables decomposition reduces the computational difficulty by using the variable decomposition technique. |
