| 为明确海南岛西北部海域珊瑚群落的健康状况，本研究在临高县、儋州市所辖海域布设16个调查站位，系统监测了海域底质类型组成以及活珊瑚（硬珊瑚、软珊瑚）、死珊瑚、大型藻类和其他生物群落的覆盖率，并基于此计算珊瑚群落健康指数，进而对珊瑚群落健康进行综合评价。结果表明，研究海域底质以礁石为主（平均覆盖率为64.0%），砂质为辅（平均覆盖率为29.0%），活珊瑚呈斑块状分布（平均覆盖率为7.0%），软珊瑚与死珊瑚在研究区域的覆盖率均为0.0%；大型藻类覆盖率为1.0%—55.0%，平均覆盖率为14.5%，空间差异显著；其他生物群落覆盖率整体处于低水平，覆盖率为0.4%—2.6%，平均覆盖率为0.7%；珊瑚群落健康状况分化明显，其中2个站位为“非常好”、2个站位为“很好”、4个站位为“一般”、3个站位为“很差”、5个站位为“非常差”。总体而言，海南岛西北部海域珊瑚群落整体健康状况不佳，多数站位处于较差水平，大型藻类局部高覆盖率与活珊瑚分布不均是其主要特征。研究结果可为该区域珊瑚群落的保护修复与可持续管理提供科学依据。 |

| To systematically assess the current status and health condition of coral reef ecosystems in the northwestern coastal waters of Hainan Island, this study established 16 sampling stations in the marine areas of Lingshui County and Danzhou City.Systematic monitoring was carried out on the composition of seabed substrates, along with the coverage of living corals (hard and soft corals), dead corals, macroalgal, and other biological communities. Additionally, the Coral Health Index was calculated for comprehensive evaluation.The results show that the seabed in the study area is mainly composed of reef rocks (average coverage of 64.0%), followed by sandy substrates (average coverage of 29.0%). Living corals presented a patchy distribution (average coverage of 7.0%), while soft corals and dead corals had zero coverage across the region. Macroalgal coverage showed significant spatial variability, ranging from 1.0% to 55.0%, with an average coverage of 14.5%. The coverage of other biological communities generally remained low, ranging from 0.4% to 2.6%, with an average coverage of 0.7%.The health status of corals varied significantly. Two stations were classified as "excellent," two as "very good," four as "average," three as "poor," and five as "very poor." Overall, the coral reef ecosystems in the northwestern waters of Hainan Island are in poor health, with most stations showing sub - optimal conditions. The main characteristics include localized high macroalgal coverage and uneven distribution of live corals.These findings can offer a scientific basis for the conservation, restoration, and sustainable management of coral reef ecosystems in the region. |
