介绍SQL*NET,TCP/IP和客户服务器的概念,比较几种客户/服务器的应用模式,提供了一种在MS-DOS环境下SQL*NETICP/IP安装的方法。

The concepts of SQL *NET, TCP/IP protocol and client/server model and comparing several client/server application models are introduced and a method to install the SQL *NET TCP/IP for MS-DOS is given.
