| X Window System which was developed by the Massachusetts Institute of T echnoiogy is a netwonk——based windowing graphic system. It is device independent and can be used in any computer which supponts x protocal. X window System is accepted by ANSI and supported by dozens manufactures including IBM、PEC、HP、Sun Microsystem、Apple. It may well become one of the most siguipicant software technologies of the 1990s. |
