桉蝙蛾幼虫对黄花倒水莲的啃食规律及对寄主长势和药用成分含量影响

摘要:
本研究旨在鉴定寄生于黄花倒水莲(Polygala fallax)植株根、茎部位的昆虫种类,探究该昆虫幼虫啃食习性及对寄主黄花倒水莲植株生长和药用成分的影响。在桂林市周边黄花倒水莲种植区选取试验样地,针对样地展开昆虫幼虫寄生状况调查,并采集昆虫幼虫进行饲养。同时,对样地中有虫株和无虫株黄花倒水莲进行长势指标的测量,并测定其根与茎中药用成分含量。结果表明,寄生于黄花倒水莲植株的昆虫经鉴定为桉蝙蛾(Endoclia signifier)。在采收前,桉蝙蛾幼虫的啃食不会造成黄花倒水莲死亡,其主要啃食基径在18 mm以上的植株,且更倾向于啃食基径约为34 mm的植株,地上虫口高度一般小于25 cm,并主要分布在8 cm左右。遭啃食的黄花倒水莲植株地上部分和地下部分长势均良好,根生物量无明显变化,根折干率(Drying Rate,DR)显著提高4%左右。与正常株相比,有虫株的根、茎中药用成分总皂苷和总黄酮含量总体升高,而总多糖含量有所下降,表明桉蝙蛾幼虫的啃食对黄花倒水莲生长和产量无显著影响,但促进了其根和茎中药用成分的合成,有利于其药材的品质提升和开发利用。

Abstract:
The aim of this study is to identify the insect species parasitizing the roots and stems of Polygala fallax,reveal the feeding pattern of the larvae this species,and explore the effects of the larvae on the growth and medicinal components of the host.The parasitism of insect larvae was investigated in the planting area of P.fallax around Guilin,and the insect larvae were collected and raised.The growth indicators and the medicinal component content in roots and stems of insect-free and insect-bearing P.fallax plants were measured.The results showed that the insect parasitizing P.fallax was identified as Endoclia signifer.Before harvesting,the feeding of E.signifer larvae did not kill P.fallax,and the larvae mainly gnawed at the plants with the stem base diameter more than 18 mm and tended to gnaw at the plants with the stem base diameter about 34 mm.The insects generally parasitized plants at the height below 25 cm and mainly at about 8 cm.The aboveground and underground parts of P.fallax plants being eaten grew well,with no significant change in the root biomass and an increase of about 4% in the root Drying Rate (DR).The insect-bearing plants showed increased content of total saponins and total flavonoids in roots and stems and decreased content of total polysaccharides compared with normal plants.The results indicated that the feeding of E.signifer larvae on P.fallax had no significant effect on the growth or yield but promoted the synthesis of medicinal components in the roots and stems of the plants,which was beneficial to the quality improvement and utilization of P.fallax as medicinal materials.
