Abstract: |
An environment-friendly house was carried out in Nanning,a hot and humid area of China. This building as an experimental house was designed based on the local climate and conditions of the local building materials. The solar system used in the building is the outdoor-air heat-collecting solar system. A passive cooling method has been proposed by developing a new type of ventilating brick, and a lot of architectural techniques are utilized. This paper describes the building and the design concepts. The findings from the monitored data are discussed. |
